Apollo enclosures are designed to house standard LED/LCD TVs. This gives you flexibility — you don’t need a special outdoor-rated TV. Choose a quality commercial screen or smart TV with all the features required, outdoors.
Things to Consider:
Orientation: For portrait or landscape use, choose a screen that supports that mode and purchase the appropriate landscape or portrait enclosure as required. Portrait enclosures are not suitable for TVs, and they require a portrait commercial screen. You cannot turn a standard landscape enclosure into portrait orientation. The bottom vents will be exposed to rain/water ingress, and the ventilation system will suffer.
Depth: The TV must fit within the maximum TV specs for the desired enclosure. Check your TV for suitability
Power supply: Ensure a weatherproof power outlet is installed if the location will be exposed to the weather.
